The new PolymerElements
With the 0.8 and 0.9 releases, we've had to update the core and paper elements previously used with 0.5 to the new versions of the library. With this major breaking change, we've taken the opportunity to better organize these elements into more coherent "product lines," and have renamed the core elements to the iron elements. -
0.9 released!
The 0.9 version of the Polymer library is now officially released! This is a relatively minor breaking change from 0.8, and largely graduates many of the features that were "experimental" in 0.8 to "official." -
Coming soon: 0.9 release!
We've just tagged the 0.9.0-rc of the Polymer library, and will be releasing it as a proper 0.9 in about a week. Make sure to get ready for the change! -

platform.js ⇒ webcomponents.js
We wanted to give developers an early heads up for a pretty big change coming down the line: the `platform.js` file that contains the Web Components polyfills will be renamed to `webcomponents.js` and transferred to WebComponents.org. -
Polymer Polytechnics this November
Over the past year, developer interest in Polymer and Web Components has exploded. We're thrilled to see this happen, and we want to try to find new ways to scale and bring the awesomness of these technologies to as many developers as possible. -
